Intuitive Eating & Food Freedom Support
STOP THINKING ABOUT FOOD ALL THE TIME. HEAL YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH FOOD. GET YOUR BRAIN SPACE BACK.
If it’s exhausting to think about food all the time — I get it. This isn’t how eating is supposed to feel.
Maybe you’ve been doing this on and off for years. You know what to do, but you’re not doing it. Your whole day feels shaped by what you ate or didn’t eat. You’re either “on” or totally off the rails, and you’re tired of starting over.
The thing is, the constant mental chatter about food isn’t your fault—it’s what happens when you’ve been following external rules for so long that you’ve lost touch with your own body’s signals. I hate this for you and I want to help.
You don’t need another plan to follow. You need something that works with real life and helps you feel like eating is just part of your life again, not the center of it.
As a registered dietitian and certified intuitive eating counselor, I help people stop obsessing about food and start trusting their bodies again. We’ll help you find peace and get your mental space back to think about things you actually want to be thinking about. What’s that for you? ]
You just want food to feel simple again. Let’s figure out how to get you there.

Support Options For Your Food Freedom Journey
THE LOVE FOOD AGAIN PROGRAM
Perfect for: People who are tired of doing this alone and want to learn alongside others who get how complicated this can be.
What we explore: How to stop the all-or-nothing thinking, what to do when you feel “off the rails,” building this into your actual life (not some perfect version of it), and finding peace with your body—all with people who understand the struggle.
Why it works: You’re not doing this in isolation anymore. The combination of real guidance and being with others who’ve been where you are makes all the difference. This isn’t self-paced (because let’s be honest, that hasn’t worked) but it’s also not a bootcamp. It’s steady support that helps you stick with it.
INDIVIDUAL NUTRITION THERAPY
Perfect for: Personalized support for complex food relationships, trauma history, medical conditions, or when you need focused attention on your specific challenges with food and body.
What we do: Figure out what works for YOUR actual life, not some perfect version of it. We’ll work on the messy, complicated stuff—like what to do when you feel out of control, how to build this into your real schedule, and how to handle the inevitable bumps without throwing in the towel.
Collaboration: I work with your therapist or other providers when helpful to ensure comprehensive support for your healing journey.
My Approach To Food Freedom
Rebuilding Trust With Your Body
We’ll work on recognizing and honoring your hunger, fullness, and satisfaction cues. We’ll work with how YOU hear these things, not some idealized version of them. You want a friendly, curious relationship with your body’s signals.
Dismantling Diet Mentality
Together we’ll identify and challenge the food rules, good/bad thinking, and restriction patterns that keep you stuck in food anxiety. You’ll learn to recognize diet culture messages and then build ways to choose differently. Diet mentality also includes the idea that you have all the time in the world. We’ll situate this work into your real life.
Practical Life Integration
You’ll develop sustainable routines for planning, shopping, and cooking that work with your actual life. No complicated meal prep or perfect planning required—just realistic strategies that reduce food stress and make meals feel manageable again.
Gentle Nutrition Integration
When you’re ready, we’ll explore how to use nutrition information in a way that supports your health without triggering old diet behaviors. Nutrition becomes a form of self-care, not self-control.
Body Image and Media Awareness
We’ll examine how social media, comparison culture, and beauty standards affect your relationship with food and your body. You’ll learn to curate your environment and challenge the influences that keep you stuck in food and body anxiety.
Feminist Perspective on Food Freedom
We’ll examine how wellness culture and patriarchal messaging have made you believe that struggling with food means you’re failing as a woman. The expectation to effortlessly ‘have it all’—including the perfect relationship with food—while juggling everything else keeps you trapped in cycles of guilt and self-criticism. You’ll learn to see these impossible standards for what they are and reclaim your right to be human.
Payment & Insurance
I offer both all-inclusive packages and a la carte sessions to meet a variety of financial needs.
Private Pay Rates
Private Pay Options: Many of my private pay clients choose the Heal & Nourish Program (6 months of comprehensive support including biweekly sessions, Voxer support, workbook, and course access) for $2,370 or $395/month.

- Initial Assessment (75 minutes): $195
- Follow-up Sessions (50 minutes): $165
- Package of 12 follow-up sessions: $300/month x 6 months ($150/session)

My Approach To Food Relationship Healing Is
Evidence-Based Yet Holistic
I use the proven framework of intuitive eating—backed by decades of research and experience—while honoring your unique body and life circumstances. As a certified intuitive eating counselor, I provide the structured guidance that makes this approach actually work in real life.
Justice-Centered and Liberation-Focused
Food anxiety doesn’t exist in a vacuum—it’s created by systems that profit from your self-doubt. I help you understand how diet culture and oppressive beauty standards created your food stress, so you can stop blaming yourself and start reclaiming your relationship with nourishment.
Trauma-Informed and Nervous System Aware
I recognize how diet trauma (yes, this is a thing), food restriction, and body shame affect your ability to trust yourself and your body. I create a space that feels safe while helping you reconnect with your body’s signals and wisdom. We bring in the right amount of nutrition intention, at the right time.
Paced At The Speed Of Trust-Building
There’s no rush to “get intuitive eating right.” We move at a pace that allows you to rebuild trust with your body gradually, because sustainable change happens when you feel safe and motivated to dig deep.
HAES®-aligned and weight-inclusive
Food freedom isn’t about eating perfectly or maintaining a certain weight. It’s about developing a peaceful, confident relationship with food that supports your overall well-being—regardless of your body size. That said, I completely understand that many people come in wanting to lose weight. We can hold that too.
What to expect…
Compassionate, shame-free support
You’ll never be judged for your eating patterns, for wanting to lose weight, or made to feel like you’re failing. Food and body image struggles are normal responses to living in diet culture, not personal shortcomings.
Weight-neutral support
Your worth isn’t tied to what you eat or what you weigh. We focus on how food makes you feel physically and emotionally, not on changing your body size. Your weight may change as a result of healing your relationship with food and this can be complex. We’ll make space for all the feels.
Practical, real-world solutions
You’ll learn concrete skills for meal planning, grocery shopping, cooking, and eating that work with your actual life—not some idealized version of how you “should” live.
What not to expect…
Disguised food rules
I am not in the business of the hunger-fullness diet. We’ll work on reconnecting you with your own internal guidance system rather than relying on external rules. I’ll provide lots of structure and guidance when you need it, and help you find the food patterns that support your goals.
"Perfect eating" pressure
There’s no such thing as eating perfectly, and intuitive eating isn’t about never having cookies or always stopping when satisfied. It’s about overall balance and peace with food.
Quick fixes
Healing your relationship with food takes time, especially if you’ve been dieting for years. We’ll move at your pace and celebrate every step forward.

Ongoing Growth
As you develop confidence with food, we’ll taper sessions to monthly or quarterly check-ins to maintain your progress and address any new situations that arise.

client stories
Rachel
“I used to spend so much mental energy thinking about food—what I should eat, when I should eat, whether I was eating too much. Working with Emily helped me realize I could trust my body. Now I eat when I’m hungry, stop when I’m satisfied, and actually enjoy my meals without guilt.”
Taylor
“The Love Food Again Program was exactly what I needed. Learning alongside other people who understood my struggles made all the difference. I finally feel normal around food and don’t obsess about every bite I take.”
Nida
“I’ve finally gotten to a place where I’m not obsessing about what I put in my body and how my body looks anymore. I wanted liberation from all of that I finally have it.”
it’s normal to have questions…
some FAQ
Will I gain weight with intuitive eating?
Some people gain weight, some lose weight, and some stay the same. Your body will settle at its natural weight when you stop restricting and binging. Weight changes are normal and expected as your body finds its balance. You’ll grow to see body changes as part of life, not a crisis.
What if I just eat junk food when I give myself permission?
This is the most common fear, and it’s understandable. Often when folks just do a week or two of Intuitive Eating, they jump right into “let go of food rules”. This phase passes, and when done correctly should feel good, not chaotic. When you truly have permission to eat anything, the urgent desire for “junk food” decreases naturally.
How is this different from just eating whatever I want?
Intuitive eating isn’t about eating whatever you want without any awareness. It’s about developing attunement to your body’s needs, desires, and satisfaction. It includes both physical and emotional satisfaction. You will learn to eat foods you love in ways that feel good to your body and your taste buds.
Can I work with an intuitive eating dietitian if I have health conditions?
Absolutely. As a registered dietitian, I can help you adapt intuitive eating principles to work with medical conditions like diabetes, PCOS, pregnancy, or digestive issues. We’ll honor your body’s needs while managing any health requirements in a non-restrictive way.
How long does it take to become an intuitive eater?
There’s no finish line with intuitive eating—it’s an ongoing practice. Most people notice significant changes within 2-6 months, but everyone’s timeline is different based on their dieting history and life circumstances.
Is the Love Food Again Program really better than individual sessions?
The group program provides comprehensive curriculum, peer support, and community accountability that individual sessions can’t match. Many people find the combination of expert guidance and shared experiences accelerates their progress. Think about it – do you have friends who’s also ditched dieting? Don’t you want some?!
What if I've tried intuitive eating before and it didn't work?
Many people need support to work through the challenging parts of intuitive eating. Having guidance through the difficult phases and addressing underlying issues often makes the difference between struggling alone and finding success.
I have another question.
I’d love to talk to you. You can send me a message and let me know what your concerns are. If it seems smart, we can set up a discovery call to explore more.
Ready to Stop Overthinking Food and Start Living?
This journey requires patience with yourself and trust in the process, but you don’t have to figure it out alone. I’m here to guide you toward food freedom, body peace, confidence and fun with food, and the mental space that comes from not thinking about food all day long.
