Unlearning and Emotions
In the first module, we're going go to deep about how the dieting mind has impacted you. We'll learn how to shift your mindset, explore how your beliefs about food and your body impact your emotions, and then start the process of reprogramming.
Here, we'll get into it with intuitive eating. You'll get step-by-step guidance on how to use the principles to heal your relationship to food. You'll learn how to find your hunger, listen to it, and OWN it. We'll also find pleasure, fullness, and so much more.
It is essential to go deep with this one. Body image is a tricky beast when you've had a lifetime of being told your body needs to be fixed. We aren't just brushing over this topic, but spending lots of time and attention healing, learning, and growing. In addition to some grief and mindset work, we'll practice embodiment to help you center yourself.

Hi there, I'm Emily.
I’m a dietitian who helps amazing people who struggle with their body and relationship to eating learn to trust themselves and feel confident with food.
I’ve spent over 10 years helping folks in all types of bodies feel more energized, healthier, and more attuned with themselves. I'm not gonna lie - it ain't easy. But it is so worth it.
I decided to become a dietitian because I just knew that deeply satisfying food was healthy, but it seemed like the dominant cultural narrative about food and bodies was making this extremely difficult and harming people.
I earned a masters degree in nutrition science, became a registered dietitian, and a certified intuitive eating counselor.
And now I myth-bust fad diets, advocate for body equality, and help people connect to their inner wisdom and sense of "enough".

Q: What if I have to miss a session?
If you need to miss a week, you will still have access to the materials and the facebook group to catch up on anything you missed.
Q: Do I get any one-on-one time with you?
The first 5 people who sign up get a bonus individual 60 minute session with me. If you sign up after than and want one, you can purchase one for $200.
During our biweekly group calls, you will get individual time slots to ask your questions and get direct support and feedback from me. If that didn’t quite give you enough, you can ask your questions to me via Voxer. There are lots of ways to get support.
Q: Will I lose weight with this program?
The truth is, some people may. Others may not and some will stay the same. Weight loss is not the goal of the Love Food Again program. We are working to heal your relationship to food and your body, and yes, it might change in the process.
Q: How much improvement will I get with this course?
This program is designed to provide you everything you need to transform your relationship with food and your body. We will spend a significant amount of time on mindset, intuitive eating, and body image to help you understand your relationship to food from all angles. For most people, healing from disordered eating is a journey that takes time, patience, and persistence. This is deep work that has the potential to radically change your life for the better.
Q: Do I need to be totally committed to quitting dieting?
No, not at all. This course is great for those who are brand new to the idea, as well as for those who already have let go of dieting but not yet figured out what to do instead.
Q: I have an eating disorder. Can I still join this group?
This group aims to help those who struggle with disordered eating and a chaotic relationship to food and their body. If you are in the active stages of an eating disorder, this program may not be right for you and individual sessions may be better. Feel free to reach out or schedule a discovery call and we can figure it out together or ask your therapist or doctor.
Q: I have a health condition like PCOS or diabetes. Is this program right for me?
Yes absolutely. More and more studies show the benefits of Intuitive Eating for hormonal health conditions - especially for those who also have disordered eating. Intuitive eaters have lower blood pressures, get more enjoyment from exercise, feel better about themselves overall, have a more diverse diet, and have more stable weight.
