PCOS & Hormone Health Nutrition Support

FEEL BETTER IN YOUR BODY. HEAL YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH FOOD. CARE FOR YOUR PCOS WITHOUT DIETING

You may have heard: PCOS now has a new, more accurate name: PMOS (polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome). Here’s what that means.

If you’re exhausted from being told to “just lose weight” or “cut out carbs” to manage your PCOS — you’re not alone. And you’re certainly not failing.

PCOS affects every person differently. And it isn’t something you can just “fix” with restrictive dieting, cutting food groups, or willpower.

Here’s what many doctors don’t tell you: There’s a huge overlap between PCOS and eating disorders. Years of restrictive “PCOS diets” often create disordered eating patterns that actually make symptoms worse. You can’t feel good about balancing your breakfast if you’re still stuck in diet mentality.

These struggles are real and important, and they deserve compassionate, professional support that addresses both your hormones AND your relationship with food.

As a registered dietitian specializing in PCOS and eating disorder recovery, I offer a non-diet, weight-inclusive approach to healing. I help people nourish their bodies, balance their blood sugar, and find peace with food—without the shame and restriction that often makes PCOS symptoms worse.

You don’t have to shrink your body or fear carbs to improve your health. You just have to start nourishing it properly while healing your relationship with food.

My Approach To Hormone Health

Gentle Blood Sugar Support

Some people with PCOS benefit from more structured eating patterns; others need more flexibility. I use tools like balanced plates and gentle nutrition timing only when supportive—never to recreate diet culture. We focus on sustainable changes without shame.

Hormone-Supporting Nutrition, Tailored to You

PCOS nutrition isn’t one-size-fits-all. We might explore meal timing, investigate food guilt around carbs, or work on sustainable ways to support insulin sensitivity. Our work is collaborative and centered on what helps you feel your best.

Anti-Inflammatory Approaches

We use evidence-based nutrition strategies to support hormone balance and reduce PCOS-related inflammation, while ensuring you still enjoy food and maintain a peaceful relationship with eating.

Whole-Person Care

I address not just the nutritional aspects of PCOS, but also the emotional impact of living with a chronic condition, medical trauma from dismissive providers, and body image concerns that often accompany PCOS.

Safe, Collaborative Care

My priority is that you feel seen, safe, and never judged for your symptoms or eating patterns. You’ll leave sessions with hope, practical tools, and a deeper understanding of how to support your body with PCOS.

What Working Together Looks Like

Free Discovery Call

We’ll talk about your PCOS symptoms, your goals, and whether we’re a good fit. No pressure—just a chance to get to know each other. If you might want to work with me, you can book a discovery call here  or send me a message if you’re unsure.

Regular Support Sessions

Weekly or biweekly sessions based on your needs. If you choose a package program, you’ll also have between-session support, my full Love Food course, and additional resources. When you’re ready to taper off, we can go down to once a month, once a quarter, or whatever cadence works for you.

Initial Assessment (90 minutes)

A deep dive into your PCOS history, current symptoms, eating patterns, and what you hope to achieve. We’ll create a collaborative plan that feels right for you and your body. If you are ready to hit the ground running, you’re welcome to book that appointment here.

Ongoing Collaboration

I’ll coordinate with your endocrinologist, gynecologist, or other providers throughout our work to ensure you’re fully supported on your PCOS management journey.

Ready to start your healing journey?

My Approach To PCOS Nutrition Care Is

Justice-Centered and Liberation-Focused

PCOS exists within systems of medical fatphobia and sexism. I help you understand how weight bias in healthcare and dismissive treatment created additional struggles—so you can stop blaming yourself and start healing from a place of body respect.

Evidence-Based Yet Holistic

I use proven nutrition strategies for PCOS management while honoring your lived experience and body wisdom. You’re the expert on your own body—I just bring clinical knowledge to support your journey.

Trauma-Informed and Nervous System Aware

I recognize how medical trauma, weight stigma, and years of restrictive dieting affect your relationship with food. I do my best to create a space that feels emotionally safe while helping you rebuild trust with nourishment.

Paced At The Speed Of Healing

There’s no rush, no timeline, no “should see results by now.” We move at a pace that respects your readiness and life circumstances because sustainable change takes time.

HAES®-aligned and weight-inclusive

PCOS management isn’t about reaching a certain weight. It’s about developing a nourishing relationship with food that supports your hormone health regardless of your weight. Symptom improvement happens naturally when we address the real issues.

What to expect…

N

Compassionate, shame-free support

You’ll never be judged for your eating patterns or blamed for your PCOS symptoms. Hormone imbalances are medical conditions, not personal failures.

N

Weight-neutral care

Your worth isn’t determined by a number on a scale, and neither is your PCOS management. We focus on how you feel in your body, symptom improvement, and sustainable nourishment.

N

A collaborative partnership

You’re the expert on your own experience with PCOS. I bring clinical knowledge about nutrition and hormones, but you guide what feels right for your body.

What not to expect…

M

Diet culture disguised as "PCOS management"

I won’t put you on restrictive meal plans or shame you for eating carbs. We’ll work together to find sustainable ways to support your hormones without diet mentality.

M

Weight Loss Focus

I don’t believe you “need” to lose weight to manage PCOS, regardless of what you’ve been told. Your body needs to feel safe and nourished for your body and your relationship with food to heal.

M

One size fits all approaches

There’s no single “PCOS diet.” We’ll find what works for YOUR body, YOUR symptoms, and YOUR life—not what worked for someone else.

client stories

Alyssa

“All of these positive things started happening once I finally started eating enough.

I noticed a significant change in my ability to exercise. Once I started adequately fueling myself, my energy levels increased and my capacity to hold space for people grew.”

Sydney

“I started dieting when I was 8 years old. At 16, I found myself in the throes of a binge eating disorder. After years of working to heal my relationship to my body, I knew I was ready to do some more healing when it came to food. Working with Emily has transformed my relationship with food. She’s guided me through healing major anxieties around my diet and taught me how to fuel and energize my body in a way that supports my lifestyle and health.”

Sarah

“Nourishment doesn’t have to look like restricted, clean eating. It can feel like nourishing your soul, nourishing yourself in community, and giving your body what it actually needs.”

it’s normal to have questions…

some FAQ

Do I need a formal PCOS diagnosis to work with you?

Not at all. PCOS is often underdiagnosed, especially in people who don’t fit the “typical” presentation. I believe your experience with your symptoms is valid. Whether you have a formal diagnosis or suspect you might have PCOS, I’ll meet you where you are and take your concerns seriously.

Will you help me lose weight for my PCOS?

I don’t promote or focus on weight loss. My approach is weight-neutral because pursuing weight loss often worsens PCOS symptoms and creates additional stress on your body. We’ll focus on nourishing your body and supporting your hormones, which often leads to symptom improvement naturally.

Can I practice intuitive eating with PCOS?

Absolutely! Many people are told intuitive eating won’t work with PCOS, but that’s not true. We’ll adapt intuitive eating principles to work with your body’s needs, including gentle approaches to blood sugar balance that don’t require restriction or rigid rules.

Can you work with my existing doctors?

Absolutely! I love collaborating with endocrinologists, gynecologists, and other providers. Coordinated care leads to better PCOS management, and I’m happy to be part of your support team. I can also help you find a new doctor that more closely aligns with our work, shall you need it.

What if I've been told to cut carbs or go keto for my PCOS?

Restrictive approaches like cutting carbs or going keto often backfire for PCOS management and frequently lead to binge eating and food anxiety. Carbs aren’t the enemy. Your body needs them for energy and hormone production. We’ll work on gentle, sustainable approaches that include all food groups.

I've developed binge eating after trying PCOS diets. Can you help?

This is incredibly common. The restriction that most “PCOS diets” require often triggers binge eating behaviors. We’ll focus on healing your relationship with food first, which actually supports better PCOS management long-term than restriction ever could.

How long does it take to see improvements in PCOS symptoms?

Everyone’s journey is different, but many clients notice improvements in energy, mood, and other symptoms within a few months. Hormone balance takes time, and we’ll move at a pace that feels sustainable for your body and life.

Can you help if I'm trying to conceive?

Yes! I work with many clients who are trying to conceive with PCOS. We’ll focus on gentle nutrition approaches that support fertility while maintaining a peaceful relationship with food during what can be a stressful time.

I have another question.

I’d love to talk to you. You can send me a message and let me know what your concerns are. If it seems smart, we can set up a discovery call to explore more.
